MARQUEE CINCOTTA

My name is Marquee Cincotta, and I am a third-generation horse trainer. Horses are not just part of my life — they are part of my bloodline. For generations, my family has worked with horses for a variety of purposes, and that legacy shaped who I am long before I ever stepped into the ring.

My name is Marquee Cincotta, and I am a third-generation horse trainer. Horses are not just part of my life — they are part of my bloodline. For generations, my family has worked with horses for a variety of purposes, and that legacy shaped who I am long before I ever stepped into the ring.

I began competing in 2005 under the guidance of my aunt, Debbie Stephens, a world-renowned Grand Prix rider whose influence on my life extends far beyond the arena. Debbie instilled in me the values that define my career today: relentless work ethic, discipline, resilience, and the understanding that talent means nothing without effort.

In 2012, I jumped my first Grand Prix. That moment set a new standard for me — not just in competition, but in my expectations for my future. It marked the beginning of a deeper commitment to the sport and to the kind of horseman I wanted to become.

What I love most about this business is the art of partnership. Pairing the right horse with the right rider for long-term success is both a science and an instinct. I specialize in developing young horses and working with the quirky, overlooked ones — the horses that others set aside. Those are my favorites. They require patience, creativity, and belief.

I also carry forward something that was once given to me: opportunity. As a young rider, I was helped not because I had money, but because I had drive. Today, I strive to do the same — supporting talented students who may lack financial resources but possess the heart and work ethic to succeed. Hard work in exchange for opportunity is a principle I live by.

This is the story of legacy, grit, and the pursuit of excellence — one horse, one rider, and one partnership at a time.

ASHLEY GLICA

My name is Ashley Glica, and my life has been shaped by discipline, perseverance, and a lifelong dedication to the hunter/jumper equestrian sport. What began as a passion for horses evolved into a professional career built on hard work, responsibility, and a deep respect for both horse and rider.

From an early age, horses played a central role in my life. The hunter/jumper discipline taught me precision, patience, and consistency, as well as the importance of trust between horse and rider. Over time, my commitment grew from learning the fundamentals to pursuing excellence in the ring, shaping not only my skills as a rider but also my character as an individual.

As my experience developed, I transitioned into a professional hunter/jumper rider and trainer. Competing required mental focus, physical endurance, and adaptability, but it also demanded humility and resilience. Each ride offered an opportunity to improve, refine technique, and build strong partnerships with the horses I worked with. Success in the sport was earned through repetition, discipline, and a willingness to learn from both victories and setbacks.

Training clients became one of the most meaningful aspects of my career. As a trainer, I took pride in helping riders of varying skill levels build confidence, correct fundamentals, and reach their personal goals. Teaching required patience, clear communication, and the ability to adapt training methods to each individual rider and horse. I learned that progress looks different for everyone, and true success lies in developing both skill and self-belief.

Working closely with clients also reinforced my responsibility as a mentor and leader. I focused not only on performance in the ring, but on horsemanship, safety, and sportsmanship. Watching clients grow—whether mastering a new skill, gaining confidence, or achieving competitive milestones—became one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.

My career demanded long hours, early mornings, and constant dedication. Training horses, preparing riders, and maintaining a professional standard required consistency and sacrifice. However, these demands strengthened my work ethic and reinforced the values that define me today: accountability, integrity, and commitment to excellence.

Through my journey as a hunter/jumper trainer and rider, I gained skills that extend far beyond the sport. Leadership, problem-solving, emotional awareness, and perseverance became second nature. The lessons learned in the barn and the show ring continue to guide my approach to challenges in all areas of life.

My story is still being written, but I am proud of the foundation I have built through my professional equestrian career. Every horse trained, every rider coached, and every challenge faced has contributed to the person I continue to become. My journey reflects dedication, growth, and a deep respect for the sport that shaped me.
